@mag123 that sounds good. Strangely even though we've been downgraded from Red to yellow the wind is very bad today. I wanted to venture out for ice-cream but the main road to get there had been closed due to fallen trees so not worth venturing out. My boat trip tomorrow - just up the river Tawe has thankfully been postponed .
It is very quiet Carol maybe people clearing up after winds . Bet your relieved boat trip cancelled did you keep power ?
Son in Norfolk lost power on Saturday came. Back after couple hours then went off again until this afternoon .
I’ve been sorting things out for caravan reopening on Saturday . Towels ,bedding etc ready for vac packing …husband didn’t understand how this little job turned into linen drawers all been sorted out . Then him making a trip to dogs trust with old bedding and towels
Our wind settled down was about 55 this morning been raining all day so best day to get things organised

So far we haven't lost power thankfully. I wouldn't have been on boat trip even if they hadn't cancelled !
I know the sorting feeling, then you find something you lost are so happy but lose it again !
What a stormy night! Heavy rain lashing against the windows and the wind howling down the chimney! Still no let up. A grey day indeed. Heating turned up, a good book and a coffee when I get back from my GP appointment I think. My son has again sensibly decided not to risk going to work on his motobike and is working from home.
Stay warm everyone x
