Anna12345 happy early birthday. That looked lovely. I hit 50 next year but not yet thought about what if anything that I want to do. Good luck for next cycle.
Grogg my chemist has a 'posh' beauty section and he suggested La Roche-Posay Cicablast barrier cream. fragrance free, anti bac etc. if I'd thought about it Sudocrem would have done the same job at a fraction of the price but hey my boob is worth it.
Thank you moomy for dust. Managed 6 hours last night but woke early for the peestop!
Life is a little ploddy - would go out but needing petrol which I can't get so stuck at home trying to work and trying to whip up motivation! x
Hello and welcome to this busy long long thread that a certain lovely LondonLass started when she couldn’t sleep! (I’ve tagged so hopefully she will roll out the welcome mat!)
we are a slightly loopy lot so it’s polite to say we are fruit loops!
So sorry you’ve had to find us though, that first breast clinic appointment is all a bit of an unknown, but if a ‘one stop’ which they usually are these days, you will have investigations like a mammogram, ultra sound and biopsy if needed (and they aren’t always!) and see usually a surgeon who may well give you an idea of what’s been found and the procedure to help you.
Our clinics are always ‘solo’, they don’t let any relative past the waiting area so anyone who takes you any time wouldn’t be with you, except for the ‘results’ appointment, and maybe even not then. Tough I know, but you’re a brave lady and will cope.
Sending you a big hug xxx
Moomy
Thank you for the reply
It was my understanding that in the past you could take someone with you, I know my Aunt did but that was 15 yrs ago now but sadly she is no longer with us to talk too
but as you said I will get though Thursday
Only 2 more non sleep night until I find out a little more anyway, I’m sure I don’t need sleep anyway lol
Thank you all for your birthday wishes, it’s actually on the 4th Oct but we did it early to fit in around chemo. Welcome Cwozza, yes these post covid days do make it lonelier but you soon make clinic and chemo friends, I think because you’re all on your own you’re more sociable. Hope the posh cream works Tired Minion x
