I often get feathered visitors dropping down the chimney,. I have a free-standing fire covering the hole, which I am able to move, then have to wait for the bird to appear., with the window open for it to return to the outside world.
When I came home from a short break to see my sister & her family, I found 2 feathered visitors who had decide to take up residence while I was away. I was able to get them to leave via an open window
I keep meaning to get a builder round to fit a grill over the chimney pot, but always yt? s seem to forget to do it.
Hey ho!! I can't say "life is boring"!
Morning....
And we have the grill and the stupid thing still fell through it!
As you can see above....our holiday visitor is more determined to introduce himself.......
Storm in the night just clearing so photo is very grey but it is pleasantly and surprisingly warm.
Have a nice day.....we are off exploring. Today's Tour de France is passing through the area where my son lives in winter. As you will see if you watch, it's beautiful but very steep!

Optimistic!during the last game I actually lost my voice .England are playing brilliantly !!

I have some silk ones similar to these, indoors, which I had for decorating the church at my wedding. Love what you have done with yours.
