moomy, sorry the GPs seem to be dragging their feet. Why can’t your hubs go to the Hosp for bloods? More hugs xx
Our GPs have been really good, again. DH’s diverticulitis kicked off again yesterday. We messaged on ‘ask my GP’ at 4.30pm ( he didn’t tell me about it till it had been present fir 24hrs), GP phoned at 6pm, and the antibiotics came just after lunch. The pharmacy too are fantastic, never let us down.
Good luck and hugs to all of you going through chemo and big decisions xxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
I suspect the team want his GP to see what is wanted.....
night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe
plenty of sleepy fairy dust for any who wish
hugs xxx
Moomy
Glad your 1st chemo is done and out the way. It's always nice to tick things off and feel like you are progressing. It also means you can loose the fear of the unknown now.
The pert boobs are a great side effect aren't they, now all i need is a face lift to match
Hi Squeaky (I love your name) how are you feeling today? Hope you have got your head around it all.
I can't remember who on here said this but my surgeon also told me that from a life expectancy and recurrence point of view there was no difference between lumpectomy and mastectomy. You should ask your surgeon if this is the same for you because if it is my choice would be (and was) a lumpectomy.
Then if it proves necessary a mastectomy can still be done but that would mean a second surgery - which i didn't mind so i opted for lumpectomy.
Sending hugs xx
Well I am back from my consultation and both LP- THE GUINEA PIG - and I had a great day. LP was spoilt rotten to make up for me insulting him by thinking he was a hamster and I was given the good news that my lymph nodes were clear and so were my margins.
So I have 1 week of radiotherapy and then I'm all done and I am extremely thankful that my journey is hopefully almost over.
I will continue to hang around as I'd love to help other Newbies on their rollercoaster journey and to keep in touch with all of you fruit loops.
You have all been absolutely brilliant and wonderfully supportive and I honestly don't know how I would have coped without you and this wonderful site. Thank you from the bottom of my heart you wonderful fruit loops.
Sending you all lots of love and hugs and kisses and good wishes xxx
GodWilling that’s fantastic, amazing great news! On the last lap now, what a good feeling that must be.
I’m so inspired by all the FruitLoops and hope you stay around to give us updates on your progress as you continue to heal those pert boobs...I agree a face lift to match would be good, I can’t wait to get my Indiba facial again as it’s as good as a facelift, costs less and does a pretty good job
Wishing you all peace and calm in the storm...with a helping of laughter and joy to bring healing ️
Thank you Dclem4. Never heard of Indiba facial but just looked it up. Thanks for the tip I am definitely going to treat myself and give it a try if there is somewhere near me that offers it. Would be amazing if it works. Every little bit helps
xx
Great news GodWilling nearly there roller coaster slowing down ready for you to get off ........then you can pop in and out whenever you wish .
GodWilling, so pleased about your good news. Do stay on as a fruit loop xx
