I'm so pleased to read that you are starting to feel a little better - flu feeling rather than bad flu is moving in the right direction. Please take care.... 2 weeks to Christmas and I've nothing done, accept the dreaded Chocolate Advent Calendars - that I still have here owwwwwwwww xxx
Hi WhatHappened I hope you are now sound asleep! Looks like you really need to get yourself back into a good routine, including a decent bedtime!!
I’m sure if you could exercise regularly and get some sort of fresh air, even if it’s walking around your garden. You’d start to feel better and be more motivated again!
I think Lockdown and the fear of this horrid virus has had a huge affect on many people and their mental health! Let’s hope you can get your sleep back on track and hopefully everything else will fall into place! Take Care Hun. Xx
Grogg if you were referring to my results, sorry, still waiting! Looks like I won’t hear anything until my appointment on the 23rd!!! Which right now seems a million miles away! Xx
Londonmumof2 I hope you are managing to sleep and that today you will wake up feeling a little better than yesterday! Sending ((((((Hugs))))) your way. Xxx
Hope EVERYONE has a good day. I have a Lymphoedema appointment today. Haven’t been seen by Nurse in over 18months due to Covid! I feel it’s pretty much under control except for swelling in my hand/fingers! So will be interesting to see if she can offer help with that!
Right time to get another hour or two of sleep! Can’t believe....

Nearly the weekend! The weeks just seem to be flying by! Sal xxx
Good morning.....
LondonLass you're awake too early! Go back to sleep........
Even I started putting up my Christmas decorations yesterday much to the consternation of the men in doors! I had run out of jobs to do......It's a bit early to start preparing Christmas food and without friends visiting.....I won't need much anyway. OH is diabetic as you probably all know so I have to restrict the temptation to cook too many pastry treats.........So, it was decorations and I only got half way. I did clear out the rubbish though.....how many broken baubles do you need to keep or tatty bits of tinsel and strings of lights which you can no longer get bulbs for?
So the tree is up.....artificial I'm afraid......and has lights but needs dressing and the bowers for the inglenook are up but I have another for the stairs and another inglenook. There had been a lot of spiders living out of site behind the beams so that at least was a good job done.
Now less trivia.....I hope those of you who are unwell feel better. Sounds like LondonLass you've made good progress with the Lymphodema. .....how is the eye now. Settling? Londonmumof2 another day to count off. Hope it goes ok.
In France we heard last night there will be very strict covid regulations for Christmas and the New Year to prevent a third wave. There is a worry people are just ignoring rules in crowded places but also as far as I know, the vaccine hasn't been approved for Europe yet. At least if it has no one's headlining it and this worries me because if UK jumped in too quickly to avoid post Jan 1st complications, my 94 year old parents are fairly high up on the UK receiving list for the next week or so......I'm sure it's fine but I will relax more when the EU approves......
Have a good day. I'm disappearing now for the rest of the day....
Love Karen
Morning, Fruit Loops! (Another grey day here)
I hope those of you awake so early LondonLass) have drifted off again!
Good to hear you’re feeling ‘just’ flu-ey now Londonmumof2 and hope you steadily improve.
Hope that lens is improving seaspirit44 now?
Hugs to you all xxx

Yes thank goodness it’s Friday. It’s been a tough week. 3 consecutive days at the hospital has taken it out of me. But no blood clot visible, so that’s positive. Still something weird going on in leg so another scan in 10 days.
Pleased everyone seems to be making progress. Londonmumof2 thinking of you. Wishing you all better soon.
Seem to be lots of early risers this morning. I on the other hand am taking things slowly. Lazy breakfast listening to Desert Island Discs. Time to kick into action now, get Christmas cards finished, think about some decorations, housework etc.
Have a good day everyone.

Me too,...but on the plus side,I am joining some of the “Walking Back to Happiness-EE’s”by going outside for a walk or exercise at 11-30...it is a good discipline. My Papa was an Army Officer but one thing his youngest (and favourite,I like to think!)is-that I LACK DISCIPLINE....so off I go very soon to put best foot forward...xxx
Been zooming up into the loft, got some of the decs down, and duly arranged, not a lot this year as it’s only going to be us two, but the little tree on top of the piano looks cute as always

moomy loving the tree it looks great
I see the site is going to stay as it is (just as I'm sure we all predicted) Apparantly everything is so much better and new people are posting more and starting new threads etc etc! The sad thing is they haven't worked out that those starting new threads are now just asking a question and then going about their business whereas before they would of asked the same question in one of the ongoing threads and been offered lots of answers from others who have been there, but also possibly stay around and make new friends!
But the powers that be think they have improved the site! We'll see how many if any, friendship groups arise in the next few months!! In my opinion Mac has turned this site into an information platform! Well let's face it most of the information is available in leaflets, I thought this was supposed to be a 'community'!
Sending lots of love to all the Fruit Loops! Hope you are having a good day xxxx
