Yes I did!!
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
We've had a lovely weekend celebrating birthdays in Swansea and finally cwtching the new baby. Its fingers crossed the weekend after next for another visit to Swansea to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, but loks like that will be a takeaway and a bottle of champagne.

It’s clouded over now, and the breeze has got up a bit, the forecast suggests rain by morning, so I haven’t watered.
yes I guess the weepiness is a bit of reactive depression (will I get the email?) I haven’t really ever got clinically depressed but have felt borderline occasionally.
ah well.
Seaspirit, I too am annoyed whenever I think how much money is going to sports (music brings in about the same amount of money) and yes, the grouse shooting!
Northerner, I guess you will have good heating in Cumbria? We have yet to try the van out in real deep cold of course but the heater is very efficient when it’s on. Hope we can still get away now and then, daughter thinks the colder times of year more fun in her camper can as there are always fewer folk around.
waiting for my food delivery now, kitchen surfaces ready with disinfectant poised, floor mop poised too....
Hugs xxx
Moomy
yes moomy spoilt really double glazed and full central heating plus gas fire . We do need it in winter we very close to shap and have had -18 in the past
We will put winteriser in loo and sinks every time we leave from now on to protect pipes . We have automatic water drainer so nothing to flood if any pipe burst .
Ive been to shop today to put some store cupboard food in and pack of litre water bottles . If ground water pipe freezes overnight it can take all day to thaw so drinking water is needed . Also water butt for toilet flushing ...Life is so glamorous !
It may get cold overnight but the black sky is beautiful and I love a walk on fresh snow .
Hope you get some lovely Autumn/winter trips out
Just realised signature back ......but still no pic icon
LondonLass I think this site is very quiet these days
I've had a lazy day, boring, dull day ! No Pilates as teacher on holiday so planned a lie in but hubby kept asking me if he should accept an eBay offer ! At 8.50am I didn't care and he ignores what I say anyway !
Then a trip to Llanelli (11 miles away) to pick up Toolstation order ! Then made broccoli soup, relisted some EBay items and listed on Facebook market place ! Sold a motorbike helmet within 2 hours on there!
Hair back had two trims since July .
