I'm dreadful at names and faces!! I spent 30 minutes chatting to a man at a funeral of a work colleague racking my brains who he was.  I missed the early opportunity to say "I know the face, can't place you though" so chatted awkwardly for ages.  Finally he mentioned another work colleague name and I remembered who he was !  

Night fruit loops.  I really must go to bed.  Trouble is I'm hungry now!!  Always happens my tummy wakes up!

I enjoyed a walk along the seafront today, with mum and my sister! Watching the waves along the beach and people watching. It was lovely.

It was Just what I needed after a GP phone appointment! Anyone else ever feel like they go round and round in circles when chatting to your GP?!

We’ve had a quiet day here, a bit of washing (dry and away!) a bit of gardening and just generally sat around in the warm sunshine to eke the last bit of it out! 
Felt a bit weepy, probably as a result of the worsening virus figures and the realisation that it hits our lovely family rather hard again, not that they were getting any gigs anyway, but gigs seem further away than ever. And the music industry is worth billions to the economy....just saying.

Apparently the email has been off line since last night.

LondonLass, the site is definitely much quieter, very likely due to the multiple tech problems. There are times when I just can’t face all the difficulties reading and posting. Glad you enjoyed your walk by the sea.

moomy, yes the COVID figures are very depressing, especially when our safety depends on a bunch of narcissistic lying self serving incompetents! Musicians, especially self employed performers have been totally ignored/forgotten. The arts in general have received very little help, whereas pubs football and grouse shooting have a much higher priority.

Was feeling much better today, tackling changing our energy provider, and several other similar admin tasks, just as I was feeling good, got slapped down. Yet another demand for money from David Lloyd, this time a letter threatening debt collectors. They have totally ignored my responses to previous demands, I.e, that I paid a year’s subs in March. And they have ignored my email pointing out their disgracefully inadequate COVID precautions.DH has had to help me with the response this time. He is so good at legalese.

He is very depressed at the moment, worrying about me, and his own health problems. We really don’t know what to do with each other at the moment. COVID makes EVERYTHING so difficult!
