AWAKE.........

I I used to love this site ,read it in bed with my early coffee, now I keep getting bumped off , I am not good at computers and I am pathetically frustrated......I feel so ill , I cannot be bothered half the time ! But when I do get on , I love all your posts .....

Sal , surely they could give you a bit of leeway ,so you could have a break ? Mental health is overlooked so much by medics !!

i had a damson tree years ago , in the 1997 storm it came down into next doors glasshouse !

i don’t get bitten by pesky bugs much , once had a nasty horse fly bite , pre cancer I used to take high dose brewers yeast tablets , apparently the smell comes out in your sweat,and they don’t like it !?

had friends for coffee today ,plagued by wasps , made a trap like I used to when I was a child . One of them was on her way back from visiting her lung cancer partner in hospital........another had had a TIA ........The third had just lost a brother ,,,,AND. They were on their way to a funeral  !! But we did have a laugh ....what can you do ?? I think 40 plus years working in a hospital might have given me a gallows humour !

we have had no rain , but I live in hopes .....too tired to get the hose on the tomatoes !

don't let the site win you've proved you're a lady to contend with or like me just stubborn !!!

One of the issues I get is if I PM and press return it sends so all pm are going line by line

I find it easier entering site via discussions than notifications ..dont know why but I miss less .

I ignore all box messages that say join etc and go immediately to little person in left corner to sign in .I use iPad so when I go to put email in it asks for auto fill so I click on that . 

Took me a good few days to wok it out but on the whole it is very frustrating even if we feel well .

when they were doing update I asked for chemo thread to be placed at top again as a sticky which would help newbies . 

Keep well and do post when you can so we know you're ok

We got very badly bitten in NZ in January.  It was bad 2 years ago and this time we took almost every brand/type I could lay my hands on. It got so bad the local pharmacist gave me the strongest antihistamines he could and suggested that if thecre was no improvement in a couple of days the hospital was I next stop. They did go down but boy were they painful

I agree with Margaret hang on in there and don't let the site win.  I have just highlighted to Admin the number of problems many forum members are having, as well as the fact that I'm still unable to log in on my iPhone and iPad. Did manage to get on line last week on my pc (with a lot of help from Admin) but I would very much like to be able to reply on my phone again.

Can you hear me screaming - I won't pull my hair out it's too thin as it is!!

I see you have had trouble with logging in on your iPad and iPone. Snap. BUT I have finally managed to do it. Keep trying every so often and eventually I hope you will be able to log on. It is so frustrating though isn’t it?

Hi Northener,

Well after a lot of humming and haing we have decided not to go to the boat after all . The weather forecast for the area we were going to (near Rugby) is giving thunder storms for 4 of the 5 days we were away and temperatures in the 30's for most of the time. Many of our preferred mooring spots are near trees and that's not a good combination.So we have abandoned ship !! Meanwhile back at home in south Wales the temperatures are more normal thank goodness -I am not good with high temperatures anyway .I'm glad that Dexter didn't get too stressed last night  and hope you escape the thunderstorms for the rest of your break.
