.
Thanks moomy, and seaspirit44 for your kind words! I know some people will think, what’s the big deal. But when you’ve been Pretty much stuck in from March, thinking I was going to have a little break was so exciting....... but yet again Cancer Treatment gets in the way! We are booked to go away in Oct, I am just hoping and praying the schools going back doesn’t cause another wave which will then create another Lockdown I NEED some sort of normality again!
Anyway today is another Day and I will do my best to enjoy it. My sister and Nieces are over for a Socially Distanced Lunch in the garden! Always a good laugh, but so wish I could give my Nieces a great Big Hug! Part of me says Sod it, just do it and then that little voice says don’t be silly follow the rules!!
moomy hope you have a lovely break, you deserve it! We’ll try not to overuse the fairy dust!
Anyone else going away, I hope you have a lovely time!
still no sign of you. I hope you have managed to speak to admin! I will text you in a bit to see.
haven’t seen you on here lately. How are you getting on Hun? I know you have a lot going on with your own Cancer and your mums! Sending (((((((((hugs)))))))) your way!
hope you are doing okay Hun and remaining well after your Chemo? No Hospital stays??
Wishing EVERYONE a Happy, Safe and Cool (wishful thinking) Tuesday! Sending Lots of Love to all the Fruit Loops. Sal xxx
Good morning......
I believe we're going off air shortly......
Let's hope that some of the gremlins have disappeared on the return.
I know you have probably had a hot night and hope the storms don't do too much damage...especially to the veg plots.....We did have a five minute shower yesterday morning and a very loud , overhead thunder crack but it went as fast as it arrived and the sun was back. There is the possibility of the same today but today is the last day of the sales so I'm going with a friend as this is the day where if it's left and it's something you might want...it's likely to have 80% off!.... I'll either be loaded or buy nothing......It always works that way, doesn't it?
LondonLass....don't forget September is only just over two weeks away and once the schools return, I expect you would have a lot more choice of dates for a much safer break. Not this week...I know but still something to look forward to.
Well that was a scary night on top of hill in a tin can . One of the worst storms we've had when here with thunder and lightning for 5 hours !
We were Sitting in lounge with very frightened Dexter .
Think the overhead blast at 3am stunned him into silence .
No cooler this morning though and sun out again .

Oooh, that sounds quite scary, Margaret! We are hoping our site isn’t too full of trees or too near the river!
almost ready for the off now!
just power to switch over for the fridge and the wheelchair to put in then check window etc indoors, lock up and were ready to go!
take care all,

Hi Northener, Now you've got me wondering if our planned trip on the boat is wise ! Weather forecast is thunderstorms on several days but of course we could miss them as we will be travelling about. Another plus we are unlikely to be flooded as we will be on our canal boat !! Trip to be decided on later.
Hope Dexter has calmed down now and you can enjoy the rest of your break. Love to all xx
We were expecting it the forecasters got it right ...started bang on time . Dexter settled back in cage after a couple of hours with low growls , with me making soothing noises . Then big almighty flash and bang and I can't repeat the words out of my mouth but they weren't very soothing . As it happens not another peep from Dexter think he was stunned
Dont know where you going but forecast was mainly west side for last night and today I'm just watching Pennines slowly disappear under low cloud .
enjoy your break at least you can up anchor and move on lol
