Northerner good luck tomorrow.  

Today is the 5th anniversary of my diagnosis!   Can't believe it's been 5 years.  I feel so meh about it !  Thought I would feel joyous but with no annual mammogram yet I still feel 'what if'

First time round Grogg I thought I'd feel amazing at the five year all clear. Instead I crashed and burned. Cos I wasn't the same as my pre BC self. 

This time I crashed and burned when they discharged me with an infected lymphedema filled boob.

Meh sums it up perfectly.

Good Luck with your appointment this morning Northerner I hope it goes well. LP is happy to pop along with you, if you’d like some company!
He’s also VERY excited as he’s going to meet and support another New Fruit Loop! He’s been jumping around since 6am asking if it’s time to go yet! So apologies to if he’s a bit hyped up! Promise he settles down eventually! Wishing you all the best with your First Radiotherapy session, I know you’ll probably be feeling very nervous, but honestly you’ll be fine. Just hold LP tight and think of all the Fruit Loops who are thinking of you today......

I’m sending LP along with a Special Hug from me! Hope he can help you too relax! If nothing else he’ll probably keep you busy which in turn means you’ll have no time to worry! Fingers crossed he behaves!! Take care Hun. Sal xxxx

well, I am home !

official diagnosis type c septicaemia

right leg still very painful, but improving, nice red and black colour !!!

Feel very weak

ascites drained 20 litres ( yes ! 20 )

I usually wear size 10 , am bloated , they discharged me wearing size 22 SCRUBS   !!

had a bad night Tuesday , reacted to medicine in early hours !

Dr has agreed that for my mental well being I should try at home , after I cried , I was so exhausted

Got 2 drains , a PICC line and covered in a patchy rash , black scabs …...very attractive

slight good news , Erubulin is having a " small "  effect on liver tumour , function improving ….

so he is willing to try 2 more doses , then scan ……

got to have high protein diet , and magnesium supplements ….oral antibiotics foranother vweek

I have lost track of all the rest of your news , but best wishes to all with scans , results ….

“Clean Hospital “ so not quite so scary , Covid patients all go to the other hospital I attend for cancer treatment .... Very organised
