Hi Shirl3, sorry to hear you had a rough night, blooming..........
They never worked for me! I hope you don't feel too groggy this morning! Hopefully you can get some rest during the day! (((((((((BIG HUGS)))))))) xxxxx
Hi LondonLass
I'm late to the party as usual but just had to come along when I read your post. You have been a huge source of support for everyone on this sight and I am always in awe of how you manage to post so much and say exactly the right thing, all while dealing with your own problems and working! It's hard to make a move from supporter to supportee but I think everyone has shown you that you can do that - they are all ready with outstretched arms!
Sometimes, posts get to us and I think everyone goes through the "why wasn't that me" feeling though maybe not in the same way. This community is such a welcoming and supportive place and you have played a big part in it. Milestones may not be the thing for you but you should celebrate your achievements - how many people you have helped - this unique and mammoth thread - getting back to work - etc etc, you know what they are.
You will, of course, be missed on the main board but you absolutely should be posting where you feel comfortable and if you need to step back for a bit, or for longer then that's how it goes.Â
I know you've always resisted the psychological help, but now that you've taken a step towards it, I hope it helps. It's time to focus some of your energy on you.
Have some downtime from the new posts, take what you need from the site and recharge yourself emotionally. You tell others to pop us in their pocket, now that's what you must do - everyone is with you and supporting you in the background whether you are interacting or not. You don't get rid of us that easily hahaha!!
Look after yourself

mrsox, it sounds like you have made the decision that you are happy with and that you can live with! Well Done you, as I imagine it wasn't an easy decision.
I think I would write down/type a list of why you want the double as apposed to Just the one side! Make it as detailed as you can, if you can include some statistics on the chances of it returning if you leave the one breast, then add that. Make it as detailed as you can to show that this is an informed decision and not you having a mini meltdown! Avoid adding any emotions, just keep it to the facts!
Then I would email it to your breast care nurse, or to your surgeons secretary so they have it before your next appointment.
I will have Lucky Pants at the ready on the 30th! But for now it sounds like you could do with a very Gentle, but reassuring Hug....
Hope you managed to enjoy your walk with Roland. Xxxxx
Hi managed to go back off slept till 8. Don’t feel to good so lazy day today.x
Mrsox,Â
Hope you enjoyed the cider lol
 !
You seem to have made up your mind regarding your treatment and don’t lose that determination if you feel it’s the right thing for you.Â
I didn’t sleep well at all last night after taking my first Tamoxifen. Instead of a few sweats it turned out to be one long continuous drip - phew. Fan is ready for tonight and Summer duvet back on. Hope it gets better. Will really have to learn how to post those piccies!!Â
Love Shey xx
Well Shey you are right! If you are going to join in funny pics are a must..........
This covers my day today! Xx
