.
Hi
I've been to the hospital twice since shutdown and yes it does feel strange and uneasy after being indoors .
Hubby drove us I sat in back to keep distance ( he is allowed out so has to keep distance as much as pos .he stayed in car at hospital
We both had vinyls gloves to put on also small gel and wipes plus tissues ..like a expedition . Hospital very quiet on both occasions .
At my hospital they have covered gel machines with notices saying wash hands with hot water and soap before entering unit .
Nurse wore mask I kept face turned away whilst she did thigh injection . Washed hands again leaving unit and gloves that had been used to open doors were put in bin on leaving hospital ..
we use wipe to clean door handle on car and home . When I got home I washed clothing and had a shower ready to be in house for another three weeks . The only thing I wasn't happy with was I didnt see any cleaning down of chairs between patients .
All sounds like a military operation and sorry if it unnerves you more but I do think most of the above will be second nature going forward Iceland for delivery they have a reasonable selection of veg / dairy / and deli ..they release slots throughout day to get a slot I had to click on vulnerable box

Daughter needed immunoglobulins (different cancer but needing hospital visits) last week, she said they were as careful as possible in the hospital, she had a change of clothing in her campervan but also when she got home she showered and changed again. She said the most unnerving part of it was driving, all the roads between her and hospital were as busy as they always are.
at least it’s a week ago and she’s still ok. They were concerned enough to decide to send her home with 2 antibiotics in case she shouldn’t go again. She’s next on the list to be taught to do it at home, but the company who supply everything stopped new additions to the list. Hope they open it up soonest!

You know , I am really rubbish at quiz's and guessing games, especially the 'what am I's'.....
I'm tall when I'm new,
I'm short when I'm old.
Well this took me forever, but fun hahaha....
Now then your quiz has had me thinking for ages, so far I'm going with....
4. Buttons hahah
9. Dairy Milk Tray / Milk Tray
14. Bounty
I'm still thinking of the others arrrrghhh - all good fun - Thank you for sharing.
Love to all - Keep Safe xxxx
Hi ,
yes it’s really worrying. She’s been in isolation for around a week longer than any of us, had her ‘extremely vulnerable’ message from NHS really early, so she knew she had been right in her guess. Fortunately her partner can work from home and is really busy. The puppy, however, often ends up in a sunny place upstairs during the day which he stays in a lot, many of his favourite toys are ending up there too, sadly she’s taken his photo just looking out at the outside world from there, she wonders if he is full of longing to get out and about!
they were going to concentrate on hiding treats all around house and garden to occupy him a bit. Apparently smells use up a lot of brain power and calories! They play with him lots of course, but it’s not quite the same, as we all know!

Nighty Night moomy, thank you for the Sleepy Fairy dust.... it works a treat on me and last so long, well into late morning haha
To all you Fruit Loops, I hope you are all as well as can be.
As we all say to each other .... take it one step and one day at a time, we have come so far - we can do xxxx
Nighty Night to all our lovely Fruit Loops, old and new, young and old, male or female, mad or sane, we are all in this together xxx
That will be the mallet for me then!
Sweet dreams all....
