@seaspirit44 Ah, thank you for sharing your experiences! For me it's a nerve damage problem that happened when the twins were born. It just seems to have got a lot worse with all the utis! My bladder doesn't seem to listen to instructions any more and it's quite annoying because I feel "full", then can't go, then - whoosh! It's hardly convenient!
I was shown how to do the self-catheterisation as an interim and waiting for continence services referral appointment- but it's not going to happen any time soon!

Oooops, awake in the night (supermarket slot for delivery!)
now I’m too awake, but need to sleep; more sleepy dust needed!
Jess, hope you’re now sleeping, so sorry it was your twins that gave you the problem, hope there’s a way to help, and sooner rather than later, you’re too young for this to be an ongoing problem. UTI’s are a pest, too. However, inco pads have come a long way!
Hugs to all fruit loops xxx

it’s actually not too bad once you get going! If I tell you 12 is Minions, would that give you a starting point? I’m sure you can get at least a few of the others!! Xx
Morning all......
How about this sunrise to herald in a new month.......one that ends on a more hopeful note than it's beginning?
My thoughts are with everyone who is worried about treatment delays and postponements but in the bigger scheme of things, in normal times lots of treatments do get delayed......twice my chemo was put back because of low white cells and the final Taxotere was cancelled because of neuropathy. .....and here I am nearly five years on to tell you about it. I appreciate if you have secondaries.....it will be very different...........I am thinking of you.
However, 500 people died in France in the last 24 hours. We are about 8 days in front of you. You do not want to get this virus. Please just stay hopeful and follow advice to stay safe. Things are going to improve if we do that.
seaspirit44 LondonLass the thought of L.P. In self isolation is just too cute !! X
, good luck. That’s the problem with this crisis, anything but emergencies is put on hold! Do you get your caths from the manufacturers? I ended up getting them via the GP, as long waits for deliveries from manufacturers were making me extremely anxious. I have a great fear of running out. My lovely GP gets a lot of aggro from the CCG re the cost, but it works. I just get them from the chemist when the scrip comes through (delivered now if course!) As moomy says inco pads have come s long way, but I was a bit discombobulated to find that there is a shortage on Amazon OK tho, had been hoarding for Brexit
No I haven’t been panic buying for this lot! xxx
