Night night all! Northerner Margaret, hope the yucky nausea isn't too bad and that you get some sleep. moomy hope you're okay too, and yes, I'm trying to be sensible post-splenectomy.

No escape for me tonight. I just had a shameful crybaby moment...for the first time they couldn't get the cannula in on either arm... then got it in and all the blood started collecting under the skin, so had to remove it and stop... finally found a vein on the other arm, but by that time I was feeling a bit like a pin cushion and then I really needed to wee, couldn't hold it in and got all wet (tmi, sorry!). They were so lovely about it , but I felt like such an idiot and had a bit of a cry. What a baby!

Awww, bless you ! But yes of course they’ve seen it all before and will just be sweet to you.. Not easy with a UTI, I know (it’s happened to me too but at home)

lady_tinkerbell aww, thank you Hope you are okay too. I'm alright, just not going very smoothly. I had another little "accident" (blush) and now they had to take the cannula out again. I don't know why my veins have decided to give up on me tonight! ;) But I've had tylenol and some anti-spasmodic thing, so hopefully it is going to kick in soon!

At least you are in the best place for all this happening babes. 

Hope you get some relief from the pain and get to go home soon
