Thanks Snowys Mum Helen, Great pieces of advice! I think I am going to wimp out and ask for sedation. It’s funny their booklet makes it sound so simple and that most people choose to just have throat spray so they can just get back to their day! But it sounds so unpleasant if there’s a way of avoiding some of the discomfort I think I would rather take it!! xx
Thanks moomy, hope LP is behaving and you are doing okay xxx
Hi LondonLass, LP should be with you in a moment or two, he might still be a wee bit damp as he insisted on having some ultrasound gel on him so had a wee wash!

All looks ok, had an ultrasound which was normal, rather than even more xrays, then a lovely consultant that I saw once before had a very careful look and feel, asked me to monitor it monthly, (it goes away as I raise my arms) and if there are any changes and/or a lump then to phone in and they will fit me in to a clinic.
phew!

LondonLass hope it went well and you had sedation. My hubby had it up the other end and they persuaded him no sedation! He regretted as there was a blockage and they kept shifting him from side to side to try to get it through!
glad everything went smoothly and good result ..relax at yoga and have good nights sleep
hope you got your sedation So feeling nicely chilled .
