Hi Laccy
I love French sausages.we don't buy bacon though, that's a Saturday lunchtime staple at home, usually before hubby trots off to see town play.
Now I want a drink, earl grey for me but can't get up as I'll wake hubby and I kept waking him last night.
I've had to put nightlife on. Sleeping minus clothes is ok but my shoulders get cold.
Time for a couple of pages of my book then it will be sleepy time. Go back to sleep Laccy and stop wandering around.
Night night
Wide awake contemplating my first treatment later...
Really need to try and get more sleep but the blackbird is exercising his lungs at the moment!!
Morning whathappened
A little of what you fancy does you good.
Well, thanks to foot surgery, this surgery, and comfort eating I'm now at my highest weight ever.
So time to take myself in hand and get working on getting rid of it. Healthy food starts today, walking starts Monday. We have our granddaughter today and tomorrow so that will keep me busy. Saturday and Sunday I will need to catch up on house.
I didn't know we'd buy a van till we sat down with the rep. My hubby likes people who do the job without flannel and that's what we got. We looked at two other vans and did the money chat but we were always going to do the first deal. Some things don't change and hubby system has worked well over the years. We've not always got the cheapest, but always got the best value and quality, ranging kitchens to record players.
Like you say something fab to look forward to, although to be far 2020 is going to be a good year
I hope you had an early night.
Poached eve for breakfast.
Silverberg......I do hope it was an egg!
I have earl grey so you could have joined me at 03.30. We like French sausages too but unless you buy chipolatas, they are best in a casserole so just now and again a Butcher's choice English would make a nice change.
Bramble .....Hope all goes well with the chemo. Once you start.....it will go much quicker than you imagine.
Londonmumof2......hope the redness has gone down today and you are returning to normal.
Jess111.....Guiliella. .....hope you are getting over the sickness. I know from experience being physically sick for a number of days with no appetite so you aren't feeling very energetic' is not pleasant so hopefully you will feel stronger today.
Northerner.........I hope you are beginning to recover from this cycle. I'm afraid the treatment can be acculmulative.......Hopefully after a week, the sickness will pass and you'll have a chance to enjoy the weekend.
Londonlass.......I hope your night silence means you are sleeping better since your holiday but if not , as puzzler said earlier, don't forget we're thinking about you.
Moomy.....hope the cold isn't worse. My OH caught one just before our holiday and he is still coughing so I hope it's not the same but. Any news on your tests from before the holiday?
What happened......I think you might have slept!
Have a nice day everyone. I've been so slow writing this today it will nearly be tomorrow before you read it. I haven't intentionally missed anyone but there are so many of us who have difficulties at night ( or during the day) but I appreciate reading your posts as and when you write them and it has helped me a lot to part of this ' family'. For those who asked me Dad came home to my sister's this week. He is getting extra care for a while organised by the hospital. Now I must sort out his finances........
I have had half an ear on the Brexit news. Whether you are for or against......please keep your fingers crossed for a deal today. We have lived here since 1999 but without a deal we will lose all our reciprocal rights so we'll have to reregister for everything.....and neither OH or I can afford to lose healthcare!
Love to all Karen
I’m still here, just been a bit busy. But still reading posts, I just haven’t had the energy or oomph to add any comments, sorry!
Received an unexpected call yesterday! After being told my appointment for gastroscopy would take around 18wks! A lady called yesterday and said “could I come in on Tuesday next week!!! Came as a bit of a unwanted shock!
Anyway I was so shocked I forgot to ask if I needed to stop taking the Lansoprazole as I recall reading that in the information on the NHS site I was looking at. So just in case I decided not to take last nights dose and then I will call her back today.
BUT that resulted in me having a really tough night with acid reflux and wheezing that’s after just missing one tablet! Really hoping she says it’s fine to continue taking them, as I am away from tomorrow for a few days. Taking my nieces away shopping and going to Thorpe Park
yes I know.....i’m Mad!!!! But they are very excited and I am too, although also dreading trying to keep up and now with possible constant heartburn/reflux! Crap timing as always!!
Sending Love and Hugs to all. Good Luck to those with appointments or treatment today. I really hope things go as well as they can! Xxxxxxxx
hope you got some sleep after your tea! :)
Bramble & Seaspirit - hope today goes ok - thinking of you!
I actually slept ok, for once! And the sickness is getting better, still not hungry but I've not been so much dizzy / being sick as earlier in the week. So I think it is passing!
I woke up this morning with hair all over my pillow... so soon!! And when I started brushing it loads more came out. Oh, I knew it was going to happen, but it was still kind of a sad moment.
Lacomtekp I'll keep my fingers crossed for a deal! It must be stressful for Brits in the EU... I am glad that I've already got my settled status sorted earlier in the year.
Have a good day everyone xxx
LondonLass oh poor you, that sounds rough! I hope you are feeling better now.
About the gastroscopy, my husband had to have one a couple of years back and apparently it really wasn't too bad... He felt so ok that he leapt straight off the bed, good to go, afterwards and the nurse had to practically have him restrained so that he would stay put for the required length of recovery time!
J xx
Morning everyone!
good wishes go to Bramble and Seaspirit today.....
I think I left my voice in Bexhill, could anyone there who finds it please send it to me, lol?!
my first appointment is next Tuesday for a mammo.
lots of love and big hugs to all xxx
Moomy
