Silverberg......Hope it goes well. Is this the start to treatment or the measure and tattoo day?
I have busy day packing but my sons have dropped in for a stopover as they head to Spain to surf. So we will pop to a cafe for lunch because I can't face the extra work especially as I have been using up lots of foods as we'll be away three weeks.
I will send you all a post card from time to time but I hope all your treatments go well while I'm away. I'm hoping to walk a bit( leg allowing). Then I'm back to the neurologist for the verdict on my neuropathy!
Love to all.
Karen
Good luck seaspirit44 - hope it goes okay today! You've very busy - at least it gets everything over with in one hit!!!
I had a BBC removed from my forehead a few years ago by the MOHS procedure - lasering one layer at a time so that they know when they've taken enough but not too much! I have a small scar, but it could have been a lot bigger if it was done by scalpel!
hugs to you!
A belated happy birthday Karen! (toxophilite )
Hope you have time to recoup your energy this weekend!
That sounds horrible Sal (LondonLass)
Definitely a good idea to press for the referral, however unpleasant you think it might be. You can't go on like that!
I actually didn't snore particularly either - it was the respiratory nurse who picked up on things I said - waking unrefreshed, tired during the day, waking in the night feeling I couldn't breathe etc. Might be worth asking again just in case - the diagnosis procedure is easy - you just have to do a sleep study at home and the data tells them what they need to know to say yes or no!
Good luck today and for the rest of the 'run'! I always remember that rads seemed like a huge thing - I had 25 sessions and the hospital was 90 minutes away, but it went really quickly and I met some nice people - tended to see the same people every time as we were all there every day!
Hope it passes quickly and without too many side effects!
Thanks Cathy
I've had them before. 20 sessions last time 13 years ago. We've a break up in Northumberland planned for when it's finished.
I'll take it as an opportunity to catch up with gossip magazines I normally read at the hairdressers.
Enjoy the sun.
LondonLass, so sorry, horrible experience. It sounds as though you inhaled some stomach contents, but your good cough reflex got rid of it. You do need to see your GP to check that your chest us OK. And you do need something-doing about that reflux. Strong sedation will make you float through the endoscopy, I know you are scared, but if you tell them they will make sure it will be OK for you.
Thanks for LP, he is currently watching TV.
Big hugs xxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
