.

  • , you just took me back 33ish years! I will NEVER forget singing that song in my last assembly before moving to High School! I remember standing there hand in hand with the rest of my year, with tears rolling down my cheeks! CryCry See i’ve ALWAYS been an emotional wreck!! It’s a song I actually love, I think the words describe life pretty much spot on!

Enjoy your last day with your Granddaughter, although remember there are MANY MANY MANY School holidays and if that’s not enough there are teacher training days!!

Sending Love and Hugs to all. Xxxxxx

  • Ther risk of being overweight or drinking alcohol is also higher than previously stated,  and I didn't take HRT, did have one drink most days whilst cooking dinner, but within my weekly limit.  Now I read its worse than the HRT...

Thanks Sal {) for keeping us informed about Viv - sad times, but at least she is in a place where they can keep her comfortable and as pain free as possible for her remaining time. Hopefully she will get to see the cushion, but if not, it will be a reminder to her family how well loved she was on here.

Judith ()  - nice to see you posting again, and lovely to hear that when the pain of losing Pia subsides, you will consider taking some more kittens. They'll be lucky to have such a lovely Mum!

Hugs to you both and everyone else

    Hi all

None of us should beat ourselves up.

My son was in the RAF and did 11 tours of Afghanistan. The first time I was sick with worry. Then I heard that a big group of cyclists had been killed in a peloton. He could have been there either. I didn't stop worrying but it made me think.

We've got breast cancer cos that's the role of the dice. How we deal with it is what matters.

  • I for one think they should STOP trying to work out what ‘might’ be causing the Cancer and concentrate on curing it! But curing it with less side effects!!

Yes I know we can argue prevention is better than cure but if all the potential risk factors are taken into account and we don’t do any of them, no drinking, no smoking, no fatty foods, no HRT and stay a healthy weight will we be guaranteed NOT to get Breast Cancer?? NO! Because there’s one thing they can’t do anything about! We are woman and we have HORMONES! Don’t think it’s possible to switch those off, is it?! (And yes men have hormones too)!

So EXPERTS or Newspaper journalists, can you just ‘GIVE IT A REST’ on trying to find someone or something to blame! It’s a ‘Fucking Disease’ a horrid disease that is taking away yet another friend of ours! We don’t NEED to hear, WHY me might of got it! Just find a bloody CURE!

SORRY Fruit Loops, I just don’t want to hear all this CRAP right now! Love to ALL of you and REMEMBER, you did NOTHING wrong! So concentrate on ‘living’ your life and enjoying every day! Xxxxxxxxx

    Sloggi bra are ace!

  • WELL SAID , I'm sick of the blame game too. If we listened to them , as said.  We would hide under our duvets for 30plus years. (And if you did that yiu would get a DVT! ) There is no place for guilt in a cancer diagnosis, it is what it is, and that's an end to it ! Xx

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

  • Sorry,not was !
