  • Hi Aliasdj, really sorry to hear you are in hospital, but hopefully they can get you sorted out quickly and you can get home! In the meantime here's some.......

Because I'm sure you could do with some right now! If you click on the pic you can see some little sparkles to brighten your day! Think of those little sparkles as little hugs and positive wishes being sent to support you while you are in hospital!

Good to see you found a positive in all this! Having your feet looked at! It saves you having to deal with it once you are back at home!

Rest up Hun, as best you can in hospital and hopefully you will be allowed home soon! Thinking of you, Sal xxxxxxxx

Get well Aliasdj..i know what you mean about the private melt down - good to get it all out ..... big hugs xx

  • Hi DJ, I am so sorry to hear you are in hospital! I hope they get you sorted out quickly, so that you at least get some time at home before your next cycle.

Sorry I have not been here for a couple of days again. I was so tired after getting home and the screen makes me feel a bit nauseous still, lol.

Sal, I am glad that you feel more in control, but sad to hear the reasons why. Life is crappy sometimes and you need to moan if you want to. It is too hard to tell people around you how you really feel and you need an outlet, albeit virtual. Maybe we should all come see you! That would be a shock, lol. Trouble is, we are all ill at some point in the month and finding a day when we are all well enough to travel would be a logistical nightmare! That doesn't mean that we couldn't sort it though? I'd love to put some faces to the names.

Oh well, my Onc appt today and I am not looking forward to it. I am only a quarter of the way through chemo and I am sick of it already. Wish me luck. Xx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.

Diagnosis 2/8/17 IDC Her2+, 22mm, with spread to several lymph nodes. TCHP chemo started 23/8/17, Mx with immediate, temp recon 24/1/18, rads 20/3 to 10/4/18, Herceptin by IV until Nov 18. RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.

    Anne

  • Hope you're feeling a bit better

if the computer screen is giving you nausea - I wonder whether you have acquired and inner ear, or perhaps eye, problem? Might be worth checking out. Hope you feel better soon.

CT today wasn't much fun. I'm bruised from elbow to knuckles after it took 4 goes to get a cannula in. Cardiologist better have some answers for me on Monday!!

Even a half day plus hospital has completely wiped me out.

Sleep tight everyone, and enjoy the weekend!!

    xx

    Karen

  • Hi Karen, sorry to hear you have had a rough day! I know that feeling when they can't find a vein!

    Heres..............

Because it sounds like you could do with one! Hope you sleep well Hun xxxxxx

  • Hope you all manage to get some sleep. Supposed to be having 50mph winds and rain on Sunday so will have to batten down the hatches.

LL I saw a gastroenterology consultant about my worsening reflux problems. She changed my tablets to Pantoprazole 40mg in the morning and Ranitidine 300mg at night. Also take Gaviscon after every meal. The pain has gone thank goodness. Still use 3 pillows at night tho. She did say I could have an op but as I am facing an op to remove and replace my implant in my reconstructed breast I am not keen on having yet another op

Hi sue G! I read with interest your ongoing issues with acid reflux! I was diagnosed with this about 5years ago and was prescribed omeprazole by my GP! No mention of a gastro referral though! I take 20mg in the morning and evening if needed! What I would be interested in is the possibility of an operation and what that would involve! It's never something that has been mentioned to me before! Do you have any idea what they actually do to surgically fix this problem! Take care gill x x x
