Well I don’t know where the time goes but......

Hope you all have a good day! My curtains are blowing in what feels like a cool breeze, I hope so I have reached breaking point with these hot flushes! I NEED them to STOP or at least reduce!!

LP has his own little cupboard where he keeps his stash of goodies! I’m glad you had some nice nurses to chat too. It’s amazing how just having that human contact for a few minutes can make all the difference! I think some of the health professionals forget that or are too busy! Xxx

I should go now must get up. Going to have a quiet day. Just need to walk Bella and then pop to Argos to get a helium canister ready for my ‘Night In’ in aid of Hospiscare! It’s the last thing, other than food that I need to get sorted b4 I go away for a few days next week! Meeting up with the lovely Jenny () so exited can’t wait! Right, I shall catch you all later! Xx

Last night I was watching mindless TV & doing a crossword, feet up on the settee, pain under control. Woke at ten, time to inject,

next I know it is 1.30 am! Lights on TV on, doors open.

Messed up mix on one injection, hoping GP can prescribe me one.

Came down did night time routine. Bed, woke at 7.30.

Apart from leg still swollen all pain well under control. Heaven!

Coffee with friend later, then watch tennis with daughter or go out.

I was shadow boxing with Cinders today, she must have the Friday feeling.

I really ought to go to bed, but watching Roy Orbison on BBC4 songs from my teens. Made me cry then, so tissues had good battering!

Therapeutic crying.

Watched tennis this afternoon with my youngest daughter, leg propped up. Apart from swollen leg I feel ok.

the flushes have continued to be horrendous! Last night they were really bad tonight they have been a little less frequent! But it’s definitely a bit cooler tonight thank goodness! Now to try and get the daytime sweats under control! 

How you doing? What’s happening with your leg? Do they know why it’s swollen? I really hope it feels better soon! Xx

Hi Sal,

My leg is awful, water retention. only had tablets 4 days, G P  had me go for ultrasound to be certain. See haematologist Monday for test results to see if same cancers cells that were in my right femur. then he will decide if new chemo is the correct one. 

Why do we have good nights then others no point in going to bed!

Had pain killers at 1am now some oromorph.

Think I will lie on settee with my legs high up, see if that will ease pain.

Tomorrow I am going to minimum upright, that may ease it.

Jobs can wait.

Morning all my phone was getting repaired speaker went on it had silly wee phone with no internet what did we do without mobiles .. Sal am still having the horrendous flushes onco put me back on tamoxifen but no diff had terrible day at dentist was dripping in sweat and he had to keep stopping so embarrassing they seem to be worse during the day . Well weather to be nice today think Al head to nudist camp ha ha Take care everyone chin up xx
