Hi Weeblemum/ Cathy,
poooooo! If you come this Saturday I’m not going to be there! The Bombe Rebuild is at the National Museum of Computing, still on the BP campus but separate, with it’s own separate entry (cheaper!) but has all machines from the Bombe, through Colossus, to the early main frames and in to modern computer systems, with volunteers actually telling you all about them! You can even play the old space invaders games! I’m usually there Saturdays, just happen to be off to Warwick....

Moomy
I've just got a new bottle as the other one I've got is over six months old, and I'm not sure if I ever opened it!!!
I don't use any cream - the injections are largely painless, although occasionally I hit a tender spot! I bruise easily because of the steroids I take (and the fact that I bleed easily due to the anticoagulants!!!) and I've tried all methods of injection - doesn't seem to make any difference!

Congratulations on the successful interviews, but as you say,it's wise to wait until what comes along is really right for you!
That end is amazing - was that at 70m??? I bow to you, oh Master Bowman (or GMB!)
Oh, and I had to write everything down as I read it, so I knew what I was writing about. I have the memory of a goldfish...
Ihope you are getting a good nights sleep before your procedure later today! I have briefed LP on what will be happening and he promises to be good! In fact he even said you can squeeze his little paw if you need too.... but hopes you don’t squeeze too tightly or it’ll be him that needs some pain meds!!
He’s currently fast asleep but will be heading his way over first thing in the morning.....
I will be thinking of you later today and hoping they are as gentle as they can be. Just keep telling yourself, this is the next step in finding the best way to treat you! We are all here to back you every step of the way!
I am heading out first thing tomorrow so might not have time to pop back on here but you know I am just at the end of the phone and will reply to any texts, as soon as I am able! Have appointment with my Hospice Nurse, think my pain meds need tweaking or I need shooting! One or the other!
I will let you know how the acupuncture is after my next session, think it’s too soon to comment! (As I lie here sweating buckets) It’s early days and I live in hope! Well let’s face it I think I am running out of options! Good to see you back on and well done for your VERY precise post!
toxophilite well done on the job offers and congrats on the archery! If there’s an Olympic comp to enter I would certainly back you for a gold medal!
Hope Everyone has had a good day! Special ((((((((HUGS))))))) for Jenny () who has been ill today and stuck in bed, when she should of been celebrating her anniversary! Hope you and Chris get chance to celebrate another day! Take Care Hun xxxxx
Right I suppose I should try to get some sleep! Sending lots of Love and Hugs to all The Fruit Loops! Sweet Dreams. Sal xxxxxx
Good evening Fruit Loops,
I'm trying to catch up on the posts - not very well though, it takes me forever and forever.
Its now 2:50 am - and I am heading off to bed, but just wanted to say 'Hello and wish everyone well for a good day tomorrow'.
Oww and wanted to say massive congratulations to toxophilite with the archery - Well Done on you personal best too - you go girl xxxx
Dearest Sal LondonLass, I'd be interested to hear about the acupuncture, my mum is suffering pins and needles in her hand, we think it is carpel tunnel - and we have wondered if acupuncture would be any good. Mum had other hand operated on some 15 years ago, now life has changed and mum is not so keen on having the operation. So we are looking for any advice or treatments, lotions, potions, anything that may help.
So sorry to hear has been ill today - lets hope today is a far better day.
Truly thinking of you all and sending love and hugs xxxxxx
WhatHappened I shall keep you all updated on the acupuncture, although as the lady doing it said we are all different and some people it works well for and others it doesn’t! So it might be worth your mum giving it a go! Or has she tried Reiki? Not sure if that’s the right spelling! My mum swears it helped her with her arthritis!
I hope your mum finds something to help her! Sending you a ((((((((hug))))))) hope you are sound asleep! Xxxxxx
Thank you Weeblemum. It was cooler........but it's back up to 36° for the rest of the week!
I'll post after oncology but I have no real reason for lack of optimism except I'm human.........
Morning Fruit Loops, well after the most awful day and night I must say I am feeling much better than I did. Thanks for the hugs Sal,LondonLass and WhatHappened, will take it easy today and then hopefully back on form soon, and can then celebrate our anniversary
Good luck with your bone marrow test today and chemo tomorrow, and anyone else with treatment or appointments.
Lacomtekp, wow don’t think I could bear those temps, where do you live obviously not here, I struggle with the heat here, hope your treatment goes ok.
have the best day you can everyone xx
Hi,
Change of plans. Phone from hospital, chemo !.30 today then bone marrow later.
At least it will give me a day free tomorrow to do what I want.
Had got my meds all lined up for pain, now have to re-think.
