Well, that was hard work. Didn't shoot as well as I'd hoped, but it was enough to successfully defend my County title.
UK Masters in 2 weeks. Guess I'd better find a b&b, or I'll be sleeping in the car....

Sorry to post my miseries , but I am really struggling this week, last liver function tests were bad , tumour markers not available, seeing oncologist tomorrow , feeling it is going to be bad news .
during paclitaxol my big toe nails became thick and discouloured , this week I stupidly went on a walk , which I enjoyed, but now the toe nails are painful and tonight I frightened myself because one of them seems loose , I think the oncologist is going to be cross.
yesterday I was really tired , I took some ibuprofen and 2 mg of Valium , hoping to sleep , but woke up suddenly at 0200 with bad reflux , so painful , took some rennies etc , but couldn’t sleep again , tossing and turning all night , today everything I eat hurts as it goes down, I am getting down with all this .i am on omeprazole but it doesn’t seem to help .
oh dear , this is an miserable rant !
well done toxophilite, and Sal , it is so upsetting about your friend , hard to know what to do with some people !
Hope the rest of you are more cheerful than me !
Oh honey, I'm sorry you're having such a rough time.
Hug?

sorry to hear you are having such a rotten time. Sadly I can’t make things better for you, oh how I wish I could. I lost two toe nails on Tax, interestingly 5years on I have recently last the same 2 toe nails!! They just don’t seem to grow the same once they are damaged!
Don’t be too hard on yourself Hun. I’m sure your Onco will be impressed that you actually managed to go for a walk and if it made you happy, that’s the main thing!
Sending you,..........
Lets hope tomorrow is a better day. Fingers crossed for good news when you see your Oncologist! Keep chatting to us Hun! Sal xxx
Hello Ladies and Gents,
This is only a short post, yes, I hear you sigh, I always say this. haha. It is, I have the cat to feed then its off to bed. I wanted to pop on and say 'Hello' - I have being following the posts, just having a job keeping up with it all. I have a lot of work that needs to be completed by the end May, so I have had my head down trying to work - it is so funny, well its not, but, I have to laugh - its like I am in 'slow motion' with all my work and all I am doing, plus, I am having to check and re-check my work - just like these posts, I keep missing words out and they are normally the important words arrrghhh!! I don't know what to blame, my mind is trying to work, all be it very, very slow.
See, told you a short post :) sending love and hugs to you all xxxx
Hello lovely fruit loops, just had some lovely news, I had my monthly letter from my oncologist about my secondary cancer, and in it he says, “that my latest CT PET scan shows a well maintained complete remission” and will keep me on the lower chemo dose. I am amazed I did not expect that. Thanks everyone for your support. Especially LondonLass xxx
Hope everyone is doing the best they can, and good luck if you have treatment or appointments.
Jenny () That news MADE MY DAY! I am so VERY pleased to hear that! You are one VERY Special Lady who deserves to have some great news! Long may it last!! Love you My Friend xxxxxxx
