Hi Sheyjay, the BCNs have said that they know what to give me to stop it, so I will let you know. It is a form of motion sickness brought on by the chemo, but not the same treatment as the standard nausea, (which unfortunately you will most prob get too). I think it is some sort of nerve blocker. I just hope it works as I am starting to feel irritated by the lack of functionality I have, plus I'm sick of hearing myself moaning, lol. Xx
Sal, good luck with your wisdom teeth. Let us know as soon as you get home and you are settled. Xxx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.
Diagnosis 2/8/17 IDC Her2+, 22mm, with spread to several lymph nodes. TCHP chemo started 23/8/17, Mx with immediate, temp recon 24/1/18, rads 20/3 to 10/4/18, Herceptin by IV until Nov 18. RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.
I'm thinking me, by lunchtime today!
Thanks for all the support I really am dreading this! Which seems silly after everything I've been through. I know it's got to be done but on this occassion I'd happily do a runner :-( But that involves running and stiff joints aren't Going to make that very easy :-( so looks like I'll just have to put my big girls pants on and do it! Xx
I like your thinking! VERY good excuse for Icecream, thanks xxx
Good luck with dentist today tell them if they cause anything more than a twinge, they will have all of us to answer to and we can all be pretty mean after chemo! Or you could always bite them when they least expect it! Â I get scan results today I hope they are good or I might bite the oncologist!!
(((((Big warm hugs for today))))).
Hi LondonLass,
I will be thinking of you and hope everything goes well for you at the dentist. I am always very nervous going to the dentist and I am always putting it off until it cannot wait any longer. Then I will practice some Reflexology on my hand, stimulating the solar plexus reflexes on my hand to calm my nerves. It does work...Â
Take care,

Sorry to butt in,can I please ask why most people seem to be going the dentist? I'm due to start chemo anytime soon ( hopefully) see my oncologist Tuesday for the 1st time xx
Hi Sam
Its really just to make sure you are not going to need any treatment whilst you are having chemo as there is a risk of infection, so seeing the dentist makes sense, to check you don't need anything doing and to make sure your teeth and gums are as healthy as possible - I saw mine and he prescribed some mouthwash too, have you got details to claim free prescriptions (as a cancer patient you get free prescriptions for 5 years)?
