“ The only constant thing in life is change “
I am definitely getting off here early tonight, I am going to try and be in bed by 1:00 am - not doubt I'll be lying there awake with sorts of thoughts going around my head - hence not going to be till I actually can't stay awake any longer.
I really hope you get sorted out soon GBear, I hope you have got off too sleep now. I have read (not looked into, so if anyone reads this and tries it, I take no responsibility - unless it works haha) I have read that 'magnesium oil' rubbed onto the legs can help with sleep, some people can be low in this and taking supplements sometimes don't work, yet the oil is suppose to be very beneficial, plus if you have restless legs or achy legs it helps with this too!!! ? (I've not tried this 'yet', so I can't say first hand).
When you are feeling better GBear I would be interested to know what brand camera you have bought for you Dad, I would like one of these, however due to the mine field that it is, I haven't bothered. For whatever reason, everything I am going is taking me forever.
LondonLass - What a lovely post and so kind to remember me sending big hugs and "Thank You" - You are here for us all at all different times, as is - I don't think you realise how much we all think of you. Even when you are both having your own problems you have been here for me, again I "Thank You" for this.
seaspirit44 - I hope you are feeling better and allowed home soon.
toxophilite - Loving the sound of your present, thats the way to go, nice one.
Sending love to all our ladies, gents and Fruit Loops - Wishing you all a peaceful nights sleep xxxx
Thank you WhatHappened, hope you get to sleep soon xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Evening folks...
Glad some are doing a bit better and wow some are getting very treaty treats! So happy dance
Well, at my crafty activities today I made a reindeer from logs and shared the bingo jackpot... a £4 : )
Then I was good and went to GP to order my meds including B12 and made appointment to get the injection for Wednesday. What a FAFF now scripts are not electronic...a joke considering how money was spent on setting up the system and raising awareness. Now it's a trip to order stuff, another to pick up script and take to pharmacy, then a trip to pharmacy to get script filled and hopefully remember to take B12 to the appointment to have it injected!.
I was then VERY good and went into dentist next door to GP...receptionist happily telling man ahead of me to come in in the morning. I ask if they taking on new NHS patients and she replied ' Yes, but it will be at least 3 weeks before you can be seen' and smiled!! I said I may be back.
I then went into a pharmacy to ask if they knew where in the street this other particular dentist is.( its one of two huge main roads into city which I have lived on and now live on the other, a few minutes away!) This was my sneaky way of finding out if the dentist is popular etc..they didn't know of them but another pharmacy did, although there weren't any helpful comments so will try investigate further tomorrow.
Just a random atmospheric pic of the beach the other day when we took the dog to burn off some energy...pity I am vegetarian or would follow his diet : )
Take care

Hi GBear glad things are moving along for you. I’m going to follow up a Referral to the sleep clinic at Guy’s Hospital and get a mouth device to help with my sleep apnea. ( once I’ve had a filling and seen hygienist)
Cathy I hope that you are feeling better now. I’ve decided to not have the flu jab after reading your post !
seaspirit44 good to hear that you’re more mobile again and eating yoghurt! I love full fat Greek Yoghurt. I’m trying to avoiding sugar and carbs at present, following a Nurse last year telling me my BMI was too much.
Jenny . I wish sleep would come more naturally to me
I’ve started another round of Cape tablets today and feel bit sick / heartburn at present, Oncologist has put me forward for a CT scan end of Jan as I’m getting more breathless.
