.
Well “ interesting “ is one word for it ! But pleased you are improving , hope this continues and you get home very soon .
optomistic, you really seem to be stuck in a worry loop , I am increasingly interested in the affect of poor sleep has on mental well being , there seems to be more and more in the media about it too , are you able to do any exercise outside ? I go to walking group and the effect of daylight on the brain is supposed to help ,it is not “ just “ the walking , and also it is very social , we have coffees and lunches and laugh a lot ( often about my “ bad hair day “)......you have been struggling for so long , I really wish there was a solution so you could totally enjoy this new life ....x
gbear ......was looking out for your post ,hoping it would all be sorted , so upsetting for you , surely the time has come for a rapid review by a cardiologist , hopefully someone you trust , feeling you have to be proactive on your own behalf is exhausting , you have complex problems and I wish someone would deal with it “ holistically “ ......surely someone needs to investigate your back too ? Rambling , sorry ! Best of luck x
Always good to know that you're not alone when you don't sleep. What's bugging me is that its work related stuff that goes round and round in my mind in the wee small hours and I can't let go of it!
I am utterly FED UP with the battle royal every time the drinks come round. I am told no as though I’m a 3 year old . The consultant told me to try drinking tea to see my progress, and this keeps haening. I actually refused to part with the cold tea I had during the night and there was nohing they could di about it. They could hardly wrestle it off me! Had a meltdown. Ward round on its way.
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Ward round, drink as much as I like

Thanks LondonLass, it will be a day or 2 yet, but am improving xxx

Hi , welcome back to the madhouse! Full of Fruit Loops trying to make the most out of a really shitty situation! Haven't seen you for a while!
Sorry to hear it's work issues that are keeping you awake. We are always here to listen so feel free to share if you think it will help. Sometimes off loading it, takes it away from the front of our mind for a short while. Hopefully long enough to fall asleep!! ((((((HUGS))))) Sal xxx
Got diarrhoea so in isolation, so own loo, more space and better chance of sleep

Ooh I don't know what 'work' you are involved with or whether you are with a large or small employer ...are you able to share what sort of work worries are getting in the way of your sleep? Is it to do with health and work, or finances or job security or rubbishy stuff while you are there?
I am not just nebby (not just!) and you may already be looking into your work situation but there may be some resources and strategies that aren't working for you yet.
Umm...I need to do some new scribbles but for all those who had trouble sleeping...
...the 'toast' by hot flush pic.
Life is truly pants for some right now...please remember to be as kind to yourself as you would be towards other people. We are MUCH more brutal with ourselves in terms of 'should be over it' and 'just get on with it' than we ever would be with someone else...so it is OK to be in shock...it is OK that coming to terms with stuff isn't a straight line but much more like a spiral in that some stages will cone back round again...might look the same but you ARE making progress...
...so this is OK sometimes
Take care
Come on seaspirit ! That is too drastic a way to get a private room ...! Seriously though , perhaps it is helping to sort the problem ??! ....enjoy your cups of tea ......
But have you got a TV? I found that a real plus when I was in - just for a bit of background noise when I had to have the door shut!
Hope the D is nothing infective but just your system's way of getting rid of whatever is going on.
Hope they let you keep on drinking...
