Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

Hello. Ah, you spotted me!
Some of you will know me from the Womb Cancer forum where the lovely ladies helped me when my 73 year old Mum was diagnosed with advanced womb cancer whilst in hospital following a fall earlier this year. Although advanced it was low grade and she was not terminal so I thought I’d have her around for a while yet. Having spent 11 weeks in hospital and then 11 weeks at home, Mum was readmitted on18/09. Three weeks in and we were starting to plan coming home. Then she unexpectedly deteriorated and I lost her late last Tuesday night. Long story but we were each other’s world so my world has crashed spectacularly. The lovely ladies on the Womb Cancer forum are continuing to help and support me despite their own life struggles and worries, bless them.
But the upshot is I am struggling to fall asleep, stay asleep and so pop in here occasionally. I will probably be more of a reader than a poster...a lot of the pics etc make me smile.
So, that’s me.
Wishing you all peace and strength to keep on keeping on.
xx
