I spent 2 hours looking for a fault on the alarm at one of the American schools. Eventually traced it to a specific duct. But I can't lift the manhole cover on my own!! By then it was 6pm, so called it quits.
MUGA scan tomorrow.
Now for some

Okay, people I have something to say, because I am beginning to suspect that between the hours of 1am and 6am I am............
Now don't get me wrong I am very happy that you are all sleeping better than me, let's face it most people do! But surely there must be a few people on here who don't sleep and can pop on and post something, just so I don't get a complex!
You lovely ladies are great at posting pictures during the day, but it's getting very lonely during the early hours! On a plus I hope you all enjoy waking up to the pics I have posted over night. Clearly I don't wish sleepless nights on anyone and am hoping one day that even I will sleep. Until then I will cover the night shift, while you lot enjoy zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's!!!
CLEARLY I AM ONLY KIDDING............BUT COULDN'T RESIST..........SORRY!
STILL LOVE YOU ALL xxxxxxx
We love you too Sal.i am awake a lot during the night but I try not to look at my phone as I find it makes it more difficult to get back to sleep if I read anything.i am also one of the silly people who if I read a book in bed(on my kindle usually) I don't read until I'm sleepy I keep reading another chapter and another until I have to finish the book.
I do look at the wide awake club messages as soon as I get up though and I love seeing all the fun pictures to start my day in a good mood.
Hope I might sleep a bit better tonight after waiting almost 2 hours to see my consultant for about 2 minutes and having 140mls aspirated from my Quasimodo back.i've never had a seroma  before and I was so uncomfortable.fingers crossed it doesn't come back.i had a drain in for 14 days so I really wasn't expecting itÂ
I'm the same Sal, I don't tend to go online when awake in the night. Just a cuppa maybe and read for a while.
Hugs xx
Karen
Sorry I'm the same sal when I do wake up in the night I also don't look at my phone or anything else I just lie there till I drop back off, but love reading all the messages and pictures in the morning xxx
Me too, I despertaely try to get back to sleep! I can see a bad night coming on though, so be ready with the happy pics Sal! Xx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.

I totally understand, I wasn't critisising, I was having a little giggle to myself. I am happy that you all manage to get back to sleep, I have tried avoiding ipad, tv, phone etc....but after 3+hrs I gave in and realised if I came online and looked through some posts my eyes got tired and I can fall asleep again, in fact I have been know to fall asleep while still holding my iPad......so if you ever get a strange message from me, I could be writing it in my sleep!!!!
I will continue to work the night shift on this POST as I think between us we can reach our 2000th birthday! The last party was so good, can't wait for the next! Xxxxx
Fingers crossed you get a good nights sleep tonight Sal. I don't know how you put pictures on, but if I'm awake during the night, like the last couple I'll  have a go. Sweet dreams xxx
Well as you know, I'm here off and on during the (my) day, but I just can't compete in the picture stakes, mainly because I have no imagination or creativity - my hubby says it was trained out of me sigh!
But I always look so just tag me if you need to chat. Love you heaps.
Well I came to bed at 10.30! Reasonable time I thought, I was tired (I'm always tired) lay down, shut my eyes and relaxed! Then the conversation began..........
me: just relax its time to sleep, relax every muscle in your body..
Brain: You need a wee...
me: Deep breath, in and out, in and out...
Brain: You need a wee....
me: Don't think about anything else, deep breaths...
Brain: You need a wee or you will wet yourself
me: I can hold on...
Brain: Really? You won't be getting up for another 7hrs
me: Relax, you don't need to go
Brain: Oh but you do
me: I don't, I can wait
Brain: You can't
me: Don't think about anything but relaxing
Brain: Wee, wee, you need a wee
me: If I go now I can be back in bed with plenty of time to sleep
Brain: Just go
me: Maybe I'll wait 5 more minutes
Brain: You know if you listened to me from the start you would of been by now
me: FFS, I NEED A WEE!
Off to bathroom, wee, hands washed, back to bed.
me: Now relax, slow deep breaths, relaxing every muscle
Brain: Did you switch the light off
me: Don't think just relax
Brain: The light is still on
me: I'm sure I switched it off
Brain: Are you positive
Out of bed, look out of door, light is off and......
YES THATS RIGHT, I'M WIDE AWAKE!
So on the plus side I have discovered the answer to me getting a good nights sleep! I just need to remove my brain each night, or find an off switch.....can't be that difficult.
The morale of the story,
IF YOU NEED A WEE, STUFF THE DEBATING JUST GO!
