.
I think you have the right question to ask your nurse there LondonLass and yes hopefully a good night sleep will help, i am really tired but wide awake
But i will be good and try and get some sleep soon as i have an early start, so sweet dreams everyone and I really hope everyone can sleep
Good night all,
Hi LondonLass I think the answer is yes. That's exactly where I have my everlasting seroma and that grows or shrinks depending what's happening with the lymphoedema in my arm. Importantly though, mine NEVER hurts. I'd be very wary of swelling and pain as that's an obvious sign ofr infection. Do keep a close eye on it and see the doc if it is red, painful or blah blah - you know the deal.
Sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite. xxx
, glad your daughte is here, sorry about the LFTs. They should have acted sooner️LondonLass, sorry you are in so much pain. When is yiur postponed scan?
Yiu can get breast lymphoedema, it can ache but should not be acutely painful. Could they help yiu at the hospice?
Big hugs xxxxx both of you xxxxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
LondonLass I hope you know how many people you inspire and how many spirits you lift. You give so much and I am sure that everyone who reads your posts shares your pain too. I was being brave and holding back my tears because of some difficult admin I had to do regarding my late husband. Then I read your post about Lisa and Annette and the floodgates opened. Do you know what? It was what I needed. We all need to let our feelings out and if we can’t do it here where can we do it?
Sending loving vibes to everyone and (((((BIG HUGS))))) because we all need hugs, right?

Thanks Ladies, don't worry I know all the possible signs of infection. This pain I 'think' is down to scar tissue, swelling and the sternum. Had my CT on Friday so awaiting results! Hospice Nurse said it is possible for things to still be stable but the pain be worse! Scar tissue changes over time and the sternum is a very sensitive area.......trust me to get mets there!! Anyway we will see what the results show, if anything!
, sorry for making you cry, but pleased it helped! Must admit I felt better after a good cry, although it's exhausting! Perhaps that's why I slept last night?! As tonight I am WIDE AWAKE! Oh well that's life! Or should that be, Well thats Life with Cancer!! Xxx
Okay time to try the hammer Karen, I'll let you know if it works........
WHOOPS!! That failed................BUT I bet it made you laugh?? And we all know that laughter is the BEST medicine!! UNLESS you have pain in your sternum, in which case it Bloody Hurts!! But it still made me laugh xxxxxxx
Good Evening everyone, this is a shout out to Eddiboy - Really pleased for you, can't believe you are home same day, excellent news.
Please 'take it easy' don't push yourself - like it or not your body has been through a big operation and like I was told from the good ladies on this site when I had my lumpectomy, you may still have anaesthetic in your body - so in the morning you may feel a little groggy (now, I'm not saying this to be a spoil sport, just saying, so you don't feel there is anything wrong).
Be good, thinking of you and so pleased your home and now on the road to healing.
Come on we need to get you back home - but only if you're really up to it....
Sending love to all that are Healing, recovering, part way through radiotherapy or chemo -
YOU ARE ALL AMAZING and YOU CAN DO THIS, ONE STEP AT A TIME xxxxxx
Thanks WhatHappened. Good advice, post op pain has come, but pain meds are kicking in so will close my eyes again shortly. You are not being a spoil sport just a kind friend and I must keep reminding myself that mustn't over do it (not least with all the wider risks). I need a good nagging
LondonLass and GBear hopefully you are getting some sleep tonight lovely ladies
Im descending back into my drug induced grogginess xxxx
Hopefully you are asleep now Eddiboy, but one small but valuable piece of advice! Keep dosed up with your pain meds! It's easier to stay pain free with the drugs in your system than to keep stopping and starting them. At least for the next few days you want and need to be as comfortable as you can. So you can sleep and heal. Sending you a ((((((((((GENTLE HUG))))))))))) xxxxxx
Morning All......
Hoping EVERYONE has the best day they can!
I didn't have such a good night, but I did get some sleep so that's okay! Think it's going to be a long day though! On a plus tomorrow I am starting later so all being well I could get a lie in!
Think today will be as quiet a day as I can have with a 2 year old running around! Think my biggest problem is trying to stay awake once i have put her down for a nap. I know it's not the end of the world if I drop off to sleep, but I always feel it's a bit unprofessional as I am working!! But sometimes I just can't help it
Anyway I shall leave you in peace for the day! Hopefully will be on to let us know how she's doing and more importantly if she's managed to escape!!
Lots of Love to all and sending out a ((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))) to anyone who needs one today! Take Care xxxxxxxxxxxx
