AWAKE.........

Good morning Fruit Loops. Hope you are all well or as well as you can be! I just wanted to pop on and say……

Can’t believe it’s August already! The year really is flying by! 

However right now…..

After months of waiting/planning/anticipation/worrying I finally got to visit Jenny () and spend a few days with her! I have had the best time ever! We haven’t done a huge amount, but just being together talking/laughing has been amazing. There were times over the last 18months that I thought this get together would never happen! But it did and it’s been FANBLOODYTASTIC!

I head home later today, which is a bit sad…. Although Jenny might be glad to get rid of me Looking forward to seeing Bella and of course Mum and Dad! 

Just remember you can still make Special Memories even during these difficult times! I know I almost cancelled this trip a few times through worry about COVID! But we have to learn to live with it, while also being as sensible and safe as we can! I was VERY pleased to see that 99% of the train passengers wore masks and kept their distance! I have done what I can to keep safe and more importantly keep Jenny safe! But this trip has helped bring a smile to both our faces and truly lifted my spirits and Jen’s too I hope

It did!!! God I feel so much better. I didn’t sleep for longer than two hours in a stretch but reckon all in all I got 6.5 hours which as you all know is a miracle!!! The party was soooo loud, I lay for a bit feeling just happy to hear so much fun, they’re quite young, not long moved in and thinking ok now go away and suddenly, midnight, they took it inside, they can stay!!  I’m with you for campers, my BIL and niece have spent the weekend camping in Filey and it’s been a struggle. Hope we all have a good day x

This weather is miserable for anyone out camping trying to get a holiday, it’s cool and wet here, certainly.

Well done LondonLass…it can’t be over estimated the joy we can get from getting together at a time like this.I just had a lovely family overnighted with my cousin and family and I couldn’t get over how lovely it was.

Thank you Snowys Mum and Lacomtekp. I was a gastroscopy, co.onoscoly due in Sept. I have no idea what they will want to do, trying not to think about it.

Hoping that if granddaughter tests neg they will be able to come next weekend instead.

Lacomtekp hope you get your UTI properly sorted. Awful not to be able to visit your very elderly parents. At least my family are in this country! Xx
