I love children's language (good thing  I suppose given that  I was a speech and language therapist !) They come out with some fantastic things...

Given that 'speech therapist' is a hard thing for children to say when they're young, or when they're older if they have speech sound difficulties, I've been called quite a few different versions of my profession. My favourite by far was a little girl who called me her 'peach fairy'... 

My Mum has quite marked language difficulties since her stroke, and she comes out with some great errors - lucky we can both laugh at them. Shopping has never been the same since her word finding problems. My two favourites were 'nittlenattles' (tomatoes) and 'ordinary grey doodah' (avocado). No, I don't know where they came from either!!! 

Baby Jesus will now never be the same again either!!!

Well after a couple of nights of Okay sleep, tonight I am still WIDE AWAKE!! So what do I do? I've tried everything and nothing seems to work!

Oh, wait one minute! Maybe I haven't tried EVERYTHING! An amazingly smart Doctor has come up with something New to try.......

MAJOR FAIL.........I can't get my feet to my mouth! Not even close! 

Well now I must of tried everything! Oh well I'm sure I'll drop off eventually!!

on a random note: beginning to dislike the smell of hand sanitiser so got some with aloe vera, smells quite nice. drawback: bleeping cats think it smells yummy too and keep trying to lick my hands

so, hands smelling of old sanitiser or cat breath? hmmm, going to have to think about this

Hi Shiny, I hope you have managed to get to sleep! As for the hand sanitizer issue! Hmmmmm think probably less germs in the horrid smelling one, than your cats licking you! But keep looking, there are some nice smelling ones out there! Hopefully ones your cat WON'T like!!

XjulieX, I hope you are still Wide Awake, meant in the nicest possible way! As you are supposed to be working! What sort of work do you do? I'm starting to think I should become a Night Nanny, as let's face it I'm Wide Awake anyway! Although working with sleeping babies and children isn't quite so much fun!

So I think I've managed an hours sleep so far! Now I am AWAKE again! 

So was looking online for something funny to post. However I came across this and wondered home many others have done this? Normally it's when you stay in a hotel.......

I bet at least half of you went "oh yes"!!

LondonLass. Yea still awake lol although I’m starting to struggle now! Just had a MacDonald’s coffee to get me through the last 2 hours lol. I do Quality Control in a Sweet Factory  checking quality of boxes, bags and yes the sweets LOL! It’s just that we’ve had a few breakdown on the machines so there’s not much to do in between the hourly checks.

Hope you manage to get some more Zzzzzzz

I managed another 2hrs!! So I think today is going to be a long long day! But I'll cope! I always  do! Now whether I cope without bursting into tears, hmmmmmm that's another story!
