Well I am REALLY proud to see all the Fruit Loops pulling together and supporting each other at this difficult time! There are so many emotions buzzing around in our heads but putting that aside, I wanted to bring us all together for a Group Hug........
However we feel at any given moment doesn’t matter! So long as we can be here for each other ready to share advice, offer support and even have a Good Laugh! That’s what being a Fruit Loop is all about!
Love you Fruit Loops! Stay Healthy! Xxxxx
Hi LondonLass i agree with everything you say, spot on girl Xx
I would love a hug right now, with this self isolation i am in need as i am sure many of us on here are love to you all Xx
Fruit loops you are all amazing! And I’m in bed, really tired but no sleep and in tears right now.... I fear for all of us (not just you lovely supportive lot but ALL of us) who may end up needing the skills of doctors and nurses and all the staff in the NHS to still be here...I needed a bit of a weep today anyway, so that I can get my hopeful hat on again to support my amazing but disabled hubs and our vulnerable gifted daughter and our gifted son too.
big hugs and thank you all for being here xxx

Hey moomy I’m in bed now but needed to say we all need to cry
it’s all I’ve done for three days my anxiety levels were same as early days . People kept asking if I was ok I’d say yes then cry
had to explain was fine but needed to release .
I feel better already just being at home . In my own space . Think hubby feels safer from verbal abuse more space to hide in .
going-to try to sleep now pinched some fairy dust
Left some for you
night

Hello . And LondonLass
Puzzler, I just checked your Profile but there is nothing there regarding your current treatment. I think you have secondary BC like me and are on Capecitabine as I was?
Firstly this sounds really unethical, to state all that to you 1-1 without anyone in attendance with you to witness it !?
I was on Capecitabine for 20months before it stopped working and then was changed to Ribociclib tablets with monthly Fulvestrant injections at the Chemo unit.
What is the point of informing you of her clinical decision at your meeting today? Why was there no one else around eg Secondary Breast Care Nurse?
Can you check any of her statement with your Breast Care Team Colleagues? You could request to have a second opinion with another Consultant and have a person in attendance with you to listen to the conversation and take notes? The other person could be : A Secondary Breast Care Nurse, a Macmillan Nurse, or a Hospice Nurse ? These are possibilities that come to mind
Snowys Mum. Helen, what do you think of Puzzler’s meeting? Do you have any thoughts on what took place please?
Puzzler I am very angry that you had to experience this Consultant and her strange behaviour.
Judith xx
