Hi
This is a weird one, but I was told to avoid deodorant during radiotherapy and because I don't trust myself just to put it under one armpit, I've stopped using it altogether for the last two days. It is very hot here and I noticed when I took my tee-shirt off at the radio unit that I had one slightly smelly pit (the 'good' one). Is it possible that the removal of lymph nodes affects sweat production, or the smell associated with it? If not, has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? It's very bizarre, but if it continues I'll just have to concentrate really hard and use it under the left only for the next 6 weeks.
Thanks
Love Lizz
Interesting question. Since radiotherapy my armpit hair never returned and I have found I hardly sweat too.
A silver lining perhaps.
Hope you recover well.
