  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

You must have been really disappointed after 11 years clear of cancer to discover that your breast cancer  had spread to your lungs. I'm not sure from your post whether the brain tumour is a secondary as well or a completely separate cancer.

I hope you don't mind me suggesting a couple more groups for you to consider joining. If the brain tumour is a secondary to your breast cancer then you might want to join the secondary breast cancer group where there are some very positive stories. If the tumour is a separate glioblastoma then you might want to join the glioblastoma multiforme brain tumour group so that you can chat to other people about your experiences, ask questions and get support.

When you feel up to it, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
