My son Joshua, 25 was diagnosed with GBM4 christmas eve 2020.
He has gone through craniotomy, 6 weeks of chemo-radiotherapy, 6 months of further stronger dose of chemotherapy all with a beaming smile on his face. Even when he must have been in so much pain, he never let it show. He is the most courageous and strong person I know. Taking everything that gets thrown at him with so much positivity, it's really humbling. If you see him walking down the street you'd never guess he was ill. Because as he keeps on telling me, when something happens to you that you can't change, why worry?
There is just one thing missing from his life. He would love to find someone. To talk to, cuddle up to, go for a walk, cinema, coffee, whatever. He may have 6 months, 6 years or 60 years, who knows. Does anyone?
Happy New Year
Hi Magdi
oh that made my heart swell. I am so sorry to hear about your son's diagnosis. He's so young but from what you say he has a fabulous attitude.
Who knows who's out there for us. I hope he bumps into his "special person" . We all need one.
Sending you a huge virtual hug. Stay strong. Stay positive.
love n hugs
Wee Me xx
