My husband is awaiting surgery (in a weeks time) to confirm that his tumor is a glioblastoma. His steroids have been reduced slowly but his symptoms are getting worse.
today he has become very aggressive today’s me and only me. He’s shouted at me to F OFF 4x and has thrown his phone at me.
I am trying so hard not to react and to be supportive but he talks to me with disgust
is this normal?
Hello. Ive noticed no one has replied to this. But for me, atleast with my grandma it seems normal. They don't mean it, its just a tough time for them especially with cancer. Theyre upset, tired, stressed, and exhausted. Its hard not to react when theyre like this, but we have to keep in mind its also hard for them.
Try to take a break once in a while, recollect yourself and have a glass of water. It seems tough right now but it will get better. We have to get through the hard stuff before things can get better and sorry i am new to this hopefully my words help
