Hiya all, newbie here, my son has a benign tumor radiating from his brain stem down his cerebellum they could only take a small amout due to it being mixed through his nerves and on his spinal cord so was put on dab + tram to stop it frow growing any further for as long as the treatment works. Other than fatigue towards end of the day (7pm ish) he’s had no other side affects from the treatment all his weekly blood test have also been fine so far and his oncologist has said he can continue school, but with all the different information that come our way we didn’t think to ask about something as simple about being around people with coughs and colds should he avoid if possible or will he be ok around them
thank u
HI Mum38
a warm welcome to the online community. So sorry to hear about you and your son are going through.
I supported my later husband through the three years of his stage 4 brain tumour journey so my personal experience lies on a different path entirely.
I checked back and found this thread from 3 years ago that might help throw some light on things. (+) Dab & Tram - Macmillan Online Community
