Hi all

another night lying awake worrying about whats to come. I have completed 5 weeks or radiotherapy, unfortunately I couldn’t complete chemotherapy as it caused heart spasms. I am due back for my ct/mri scan results in 10 days.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

Lying awake in the early hours, not able to get back to sleep, is really horrible. If it happens again you might like to join in with the awake and up all night thread in the cancer chat group. Clicking on my link will take you straight there and you're almost certain to find others who are awake to chat to.

While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Hi  . I'm not from this group but I have had my fair share of pelvic radiotherapy and chemo. I know how anxious the waiting for results can be. In my case it was quite emotional when they told me all clear. I hope the results go well for you. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.
