I don’t have a big garden but this is the last of my self grown crops ! Definitely try more peas next year !
What a week but life is like that and we will roll forward into another week .
I am off to watch my oldest son do his first half marathon in memory of his papa and he has raised nearly £1000.
Run well son !
Granny wanted to come too but she is banned . No chance is she catching a chest infection . She is a little disappointed!
What are you all up to ?

Appreciate we’re now in November catch up mode, but I’d missed sharing my 5th anniversary. THE colonoscopy was five years ago on 27th October 2018. Hope for all stage-4-ers. So grateful to all those who’ve worked so hard to get us here. And for the years of life, new grandchildren met, and the beauty all around us. As well as the opportunity to huff and puff at injustice and unfairness that doesn’t belong in this wonderful world.
I'd never heard of electric hit water bottles either. I'm now wondering if one of these would be a useful thing to get for my siblings (blind and learning disabled). What do you think #court - are they easy to use and, more importantly, safe? Hope there's some good news from the scans, and not too long a wait.
Congratulations on the 5 year anniversary Wellspring. It's always lovely to hear positive stories.
Busy here today with a double delivery of logs which I've been helping to barrow round the back and then stack. Have left the OH to finish off as my back was starting to ache. Old age doesn't come itself! A good job for a grey day though.
Time for a coffee and a sit down.
Take care all.
I honestly don’t know if it would work for her . I got it for mum as she has burnt her thumb and it’s not healed . She has to plug it into the bottle . It certainly removes the risk of scalding which we were worried about . But her vision is fine and she is cognitively able to use the controls . Not uncovered any other safety concerns just yet but I will let you know if I do .
This is wonderful news . Well done you . I love the huffing and puffing at the injustice going around . That’s an art form in itself . I have my daily rant as I read the news .
So delighted that you have not just reached five years but retained your ability to seek out the good times as anyone who is on continuous treatment or monitoring knows it’s got it’s hard parts to endure too .
Mum shares your spirit and attitude which for us gives us a lot of comfort .
Her granddaughter is having a baking session with her this weekend. More Christmas preparations. I think I might have to switch from a tea drinker to coffee to get some caffeine to boost my energy levels . I love Christmas but this year I feel tired just thinking about it.
But I will surface and meet the challenge .
