    Hi Marianne...oh well lol.

Did you find the LS website? We are trying to organise a support day in March, in Birmingham.  Would it be something you might be interested in? Xxx

Hi, yes I did thanks. Would certainly be interested in a support meeting - I've yet to meet anyone else with Lynch and if would be great to do so. It's very hard for other people to understand what we are facing. The number of people who ask whether I've got the all clear yet - they just don't get it. Hope you are doing well post-reversal. I'm at hospital today and hope to get a date for my surgery.

Yes. I had colorectal cancer in 2012 at 47 yrs old and had Lynch confirmed in 2014. 8 am the first in my family (both parents negative) and the last (both children negative). So 8 am in a way a "lucky one. Since 2012 I have had 5 colon related ops (ablation of tumour, colostomy, ileostomy and reversal. I had my hysterectomy 4 years afterwards because of the discovery of precancerous cells.

I have not yet had a recurrence of the cancer but Ave 6 monthly CT scan and blood tests.

    Happy to discuss.

    For "8", read "I".
