And here we are in 2023.

Let’s see what we can achieve despite all that’s going on .

My son is reading a book about making one small change at a time so we left granny sleeping   and headed out for a nice mother and son walk . He does not do that too often !Grinning

Steak pie for us later once the fresh orange juice and French toast goes down .

Take special care ,

  • Hi Artsie,

A moment of quality time - lovely!!!

Getting out in the fresh air was on my agenda too. I think my trip out really helped me turn my positive mojo back on after a NYE lull.

We took on an allotment in the middle of the summer & got cracking on making some raised beds in hope to make it accessible in years to come.
I was so eager to get growing some winter veggies but we haven’t been there since my diagnosis, what with that & the cold weather it really wasn’t on the radar. I wanted to pop up when the snow melted but Mr S discouraged me - I think he was being protective as I don’t think he expected anything to survive being under the snow for a week.

Popped in on NYD & was surprised at the survival rate. Really gave us both a needed boost & we went again yesterday to do a little tidying & dig up what was spoiled.

Hoping in 2023 to finish off what we started (& to be able to eat some of that green veg) …….I dream of green Wink

  • That looks amazingly well organised and great access. You’ll have hours of fun there and reap the rewards of your hard work.
I’m really pleased for you. Keep us updated on your progress.

  • I love this as   and myself are trying to find our ways round gardening . Last year for the first time we grew onions .

Thats amazing you had such a good crop ! We are thinking of a raised flower bed for mum this year as she was a keen gardener .

    Keep the photos coming .

  • Hi Court

Raised beds are brilliant for keen gardening.
We had two troughs made for our mum. She loved flowers and the patio pots were too low for her to handle. The high flower bed gave her years of colourful joy
