And here we are in 2023.

Let’s see what we can achieve despite all that’s going on .

My son is reading a book about making one small change at a time so we left granny sleeping   and headed out for a nice mother and son walk . He does not do that too often !Grinning

Steak pie for us later once the fresh orange juice and French toast goes down .

Take special care ,

  • Hi Court,

Sounds fantastic. We wooooped it up until the wee small hours with my husband,  daughter and granddaughter. It’s a new year tradition they come here every year as my son in law works New Year’s Eve and day.

They will stay all day and have their dinner here followed by profiteroles with fresh cream, highlight of the day for my granddaughter.

Then we will all be headed up to Dundee for 3 day break. Xx

  • Welcome to a (hopefully) better year ahead!

We reinstated a new years day tradition by meeting up with friends in the wood, for coffee and bacon butties!! And it was Tangles first time, and she passed with flying colours!

    Just love her little whiskers!

  • What a fantastic way to meet up with friends. Tangle looks very relaxed.

  • Well what a sh*t year 2022 turned out to be. Started off so positive with Jay getting rid of his cancer but the `B` decided it wasn't done yet and made an `unwelcome return` in May/June and here we are back at square one fighting again. I just hope God has better and brighter plans for us all in 2023. I hope and prayPrayPray.

  • She looks beautiful. We lost our wee furry friend in 2020 she was 18 we miss her still.

  • Only way to beat Cancer is not to let it consume you!
That’s the message I would pass on to Jay

  • We went out for the first time in months, our lovely friends made a dinner with some close friends all of whom made sure they were well before attending. Saw the New Year in with them partying until 2am. Both shattered now but well worth it. Lovely roast pork for dinner just the three of us. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

  • Yes I know the feeling. We lost Rosie at 15 to a heart attack in April 21, couldn't entertain another for a while, then were waiting for a rehome to come up. Bingo, in September we got Tangle!! She's very much my shadow.

  • Hi PattyK

I am so sorry that you have had such a bad year.
I hope that this year brings you more positivity.
