I am also on Nivolumab. My consultant says it is ok to have the covid vaccine but the timing needs to be quite specific. 

I had my treatment last Tuesday and I said to the nurses that I had received an invite to book the 1st vaccine. They checked it all out and said it needed to be done so many days before treatment. I was told to have my blood test as usual on Fri 5 and then try and get a slot for later the same day as it would give me 3 clear days before my next infusion, obviously not everyone’s timings are the same between blood tests and treatment, So best to speak to your team.  

How are you getting on with your treatment? I have had 3 sessions and so far feeling well with no obvious side effects.

Hi Phoebeb21 on 15th Feb I'll be having my 8 round, my only side effects are itching and a dry mouth. I use E45 lotion everywhere !  also baby shampoo on my hair, they both work very well, I drink ls of water for the dry mouth. Othere than that I feel fine and my last scan in November showed I'm stable. So fingers crossed eyes and legs as well  I stay that was. Stay safe  and positive we'll get there ️

Everything crossed for us both ... indeed for everyone on treatment! 
Heres hoping for stability and hopefully shrinkage! 
My first scan is on 15 Feb so will keep you informed . My oncologist has warned me about pseudo progression just in case!

Thanks court, I phoned Clatebridge nurse this morning re covid jab, I have an appointment for jab on 3rd and treatment on 15th, she said it's perfect timing. So all systems go, covid jab here I comea ha
