My world came crashing down today my worst fears not sure what to think my wife had cancer on her Bowel January she had it removed now it’s returned on small Bowel and it’s inoperable
So sorry to hear this . Such a difficult time for you both . Does she have a treatment plan yet ? Chemo itself played a big role in controlling my mum’s cancer . Others tonight have posted that they have no evidence of disease following successful treatment . It is hard to hear there is no surgical option but hopefully they will be able to form a plan that works at keeping it under control .
We are here to support you both in these very difficult days .
It helped me to think of it more in terms of a chronic condition that might require continuous treatment / scans etc . A bit like some other chronic conditions like heart disease .
Controlling your thoughts and the paths they can lead you down is very hard initially but once treatment start it calms a bit .
