I have secondary cancer - spread from breast to bones. I’ve been on palbociclib for two years as well as taking letrozole and denosumab injections. Consultation with oncologist today who said tumour markers have raised from 6 to 8 to 10 over the past few months but he said he wasn’t worried. What does it mean that the tumour markers are raised and what is the range? What is the top of the range for a tumour marker?
Hi MamaSm. I just dropped by and noticed you've not had a reply to your post as yet. I have a different cancer so I'm sorry I'm unable to offer any answers. I was going to suggest you Ask a Nurse here on the forum but I see you've already done so. Hopefully they'll come back soon to you.
I've attached the link to Secondary Bone cancer which you may find helpful.
Sending you hugs, B x
