I have just been diagnosed and I am waiting for an operation date
Most of the posts on here are about or from men
I would love to hear from women who have had treatment
Not too long to wait then although it always feel like forever.I’ll keep everything crossed for you.X
Aww good luck sweetheart xxx you’ll be fine and will feel so much better when you know there’s a plan in place xxx
Hi Tinkerbell221 . Always good to have a date. Try and take someone with you. You can be overloaded with info and forget everything as soon as you walk out of the door. Also asked to be copied in to the notes. Always easier to understand things when in black and white. Best wishes.
In addition to asking for copies of the hospital letters I’ve found it helpful to write down who I saw and a brief note of what was discussed.I put this on each appointment letter and then file them.
I have started a Word document diary, because I know I will forget what I had done and when.
