I have just been diagnosed and I am waiting for an operation date
Most of the posts on here are about or from men
I would love to hear from women who have had treatment
Congratulations, will this be your first grandchild?
Oh that’s a lovely event to focus on-congratulations! Hopefully you will be recovering well by that time and able to enjoy your new grandchild.

Yes she’s the first, they’re naming her Ava xxx
How exciting, and how clever of them to know the baby’s name already! I have a little Scottish great-niece called Ava.
I hope you have ways to help you calm your nerves- when I can get myself to do it, I find EFT (‘tapping’) does help -i use an app. Also meditation, breathing exercises, yoga when feeling strong. I was doing eft like mad while waiting for 3 hours on wednesday morning at the hospital for my 2nd TURBT. I am very relieved that’s done and looking forward to news about what they found and what’s next. This time was so much easier than the 1st, and having a night in hospital was v helpful. I wish you well, before during and after your big op.
