Hi
My mum is in her final days in hospital there was nothing more they could do she got admitted again about a week ago as went downhill. Her calcium was high again and fluid & antibiotics were not helping much so they were withdrawn. I’m so upset and confused as her GP over a week ago said it not end of life just a UTI. She hadn’t even seen a oncologist yet the appointment came through today.
We are all in limbo my mum never wanted to die this way. I’ve been sitting there watching her thinking I wouldnt leave my dog like this. It’s just not right and so unfair she is only 78 years old and never had any major health issues prior to this.
I’m one of 4 and we all feel the same but losing our last parent is breaking us.
Hi . Really sorry to hear about your mum. Such a shame she has not had the care she deserves and sad to know she may not see an oncologist. My thoughts are with your mum and your family at this difficult time.
Thank you she passed away this afternoon I’m heartbroken. Life without parents does not seem right
