In October 2019 I was diagnosed both with Chronic Kidney Disease and Transitional cell carcenoma/locally advanced urothelial with rectal infiltration (T4 N0 MX) .. the latter seemingly originating in my bladder.
I was 'fitted" with a catheter and two nephroureterostomies (kidney drains with stents) which means I have three leg bags.
I had extended ChemCis chemo followed by 20 sessions of radiotherapy. Two subsequent CT scans show no active cancer at present but I'm having a flexible cystoscopy tomorrow when I hope they'll find the pink tinged urine in my catheter bag is due to stent irritation and nothing worse. At my last phone consultation I was told by my oncologist that my next CT scan would be in twelve months. Long time I thought after just two six monthly ones.

Hi . With all you have going on, it is not surprising you may show some signs of blood. I had a few bleeds as long term issues of radiotherapy, but nothing serious. I hope all goes well with your flexi tomorrow. I have annual CT scans. Had one last week and waiting for results. Keep us posted. Best wishes.
