Hi Everyone
I am new to the group and looking for some advice
I had my tumor removed in Sept and then had some necrotic tissue removed in Dec
The consultant said this had all been a success..I was supposed to have a follow up in Jan but received a phone call instead and was told I would be seen again in May .
I have recently had pain in my left side and lower back ..inside of thighs ..groin ..buttocks and upper and lower abdomen...in addition I have had one episode of blood in my wee.
I do need knee replacement so some if this pain could be athritis
I went to my GP and am now waiting for the results of urine test .
I called the urology nurse yesterday and explained all of this to her and she advised me to go to A&E ..I was a bit shocked by this and wondered if this is normal procedure ??
I would have expected her to perhaps bring my check in May closer if my urine test comes back negative ..I am now very stressed re her saying go to A&E and have not slept all night worrying about it !!
any advice would be so appreciated
