Evening all,

im up for a flexi on Wednesday, so the anxiety is kicking in…because Ive been very sore since September after BCG #15 the demons are hitting hard…

I’m convinced that something is not right…I stupidly looked up acid reflux and bloated and now I’m worried it’s stomach cancer…I know it’s a symptom of the anxiety but this is how my head works….

although the acid reflux and being bloated could be through the overeating / overthinking and the anxiety…

im waffling now…sorry… I seem to make sense of things if I put it down on paper….

when I get anxious I start looking for problems…I think that’s all this is….

love to all. Nigel xx

  • Hi Nigel, the catastrophic thoughts are no stranger to anyone on here I think. If writing it down on here shuts up the demons then thats what you should do my friend.  Anxiety is horrible , so its understandable that you are going to wonder what the physical symptoms are and think the worst. wednesday cant come soon enough, get it over with and we can raise a glass on wednesday night. Keep in touch and waffle as much as you want to x

    Much love Angela x

  • Cheers as always Angela, xx

im calming down a bit now…

  • Hi Nigel,

The brain is a funny old thing right....

The soreness after BCG is something I've dealt with also. I believe it's how the BCG works, it inflames the bladder so the white blood cells attack any cancer.. Mine was over inflammed and took ages to calm down.

My wife has acid reflux and she controls it with medication and diet. She avoids many foods and drinks.

Anxiety definitely also has a physical effect on the body and can make things like IBS etc worse. Even things like eating food can be difficult when very anxious.

I found white bread really used to bloat me, so cut it out of my diet.. along with other things.

Are there foods that make you bloated?

Hope things get better for you soon.

    Trevor

  • Hi Trevor, yep white bread does it for me also, im getting over it now….

as Angela says, Wednesday can’t come quick enough…

    hope your well mate.
